Hi, my name is Dirk Breeuwer.

I'm a Measurement Manager at Google and a Quantified Self enthusiast.

I help companies drive business impact by leveraging the scientific method:

Self.Science is a project to implement the scientific method at the individual level for self improvement (Quantified Self).

Why Quantified Self?

• Learning through experimentation - The only way to truly learn is to isolate cause from effect. The only way to isolate cause from effect is by running experiments.
• Data-driven self improvement - You can't manage what you can't measure. This applies to large systems like organizations and governments, as well smaller systems like indivuduals.
